About us Born out of Torquay, VIC in the early 2000s with nothing but a dream to design and deliver a collection of affordable, high-quality garments not yet met by the market, Ghanda Clothing has quickly become a household name, as the largest 100% Australian-owned and operated clothing brand, with over 100 locations across the nation. About you We are looking for a creative problem solver who is passionate about producing garments that speak to our Ghanda customer, with experience across production, design or pattern making. Someone ready to jump in headfirst, with the ability to work autonomously, drive creative solutions and develop top-quality garments for our customers. A day in the life The role will sit primarily within the production space, working alongside our production team and designers. As a PRODUCT DEVELOPER, your daily tasks may include: Lab Dip and Strike-off comments Fit sessions and comments Sample management Range-board updates Daily communication with suppliers Regular Photoshoot prep Regular QC checks Assisting the Production Team with costings
An ideal addition to the #GhandaGang will have: - A degree or higher qualification in a relevant field - Product Development or Fashion Design
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel & Word, with Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) is highly regarded
- Strong design fundamentals and garment construction knowledge
- A keen interest in fashion, design and surf/street lifestyle
