About the role

This is a contract opportunity for an experienced Shopfitter / Carpenter to work on Ghanda Clothing retail fitouts across Australia. You'll be on the road - travelling to different locations for 2-4 weeks at a time - so we're looking for someone who's comfortable being away from home with a self-sufficient, get-it-done attitude. For the right candidate, there is potential for this to grow into a full-time ongoing arrangement.

A day in the life

Reporting directly to the Store Development Project Manager, your work will centre on shop fitouts, including:

• Basic framing and wall cladding
• Interpreting plans and working to specification
• Delivering quality finishes across a variety of retail environments
• Coordinating with the Store Development team to achieve project timelines

About you

The perfect fit for this role will:

• Have a valid ABN - accommodation, hire car, and a staying-away allowances provided
• Have proven carpentry or shopfitting experience, with exposure to retail fitouts
• Be confident in basic framing and wall cladding
• Enjoy regular domestic travel and be happy staying away from home for 2-4 weeks at a time
• Be able to work hard, take on overtime as required, and back yourself on the tools
• Be self-directed, reliable, and professional on site
